Where is Coffeed after I open it?
Click the coffee cup in the top menu bar. Coffeed intentionally opens no desktop window or Dock icon.
How do I keep my Mac awake?
Choose 15, 30, or 45 minutes; 1, 4, or 8 hours; an end time; or ∞ until stopped.
How does the weekly schedule work?
Pick start and end times and weekdays. Overnight periods belong to the start day. Coffeed must be running and cannot wake an already sleeping Mac.
What does Stop do?
Turning off the main switch releases the wake request and also disables the weekly schedule. Quit releases every wake request.
What does Coffeed not do?
It does not bypass passwords, lid-close sleep, manual sleep, lock policies, or low-battery protection. Keeping the screen on uses more power.
